Shady Beach is situated on the beautiful, clear Elk River with grassy, shaded camping and 1/4 mile beachfront accessible for camping, swimming, fishing or just relaxing. If you are wanting a place to sit back, relax and take in the view, then Shady Beach is where you want to be!

Our tenting area is perfect for anyone wishing to experience nature first hand. Besides grassy, shaded camping, you wake to cool morning air with the Elk River just steps away!

Our RV section has 23 marked sites that have water and electric (30 amp/50 amp) hookups. This area also has a lot of trees for shade.

Our camping cabins accommodate 6 people with 3 full size beds.

We offer canoes, kayaks and 6 man rafts to accommodate everyone's needs. Our kayaks are top mount with a place for a medium size cooler and are easy to maneuver and comfortable to ride on. Our 6 man rafts are ideal for groups and families. We suggest 4-5 adults with coolers and accessories per raft for the most comfortable and enjoyable float.
